THE SHORT VERSION
PulpitClips runs on your Mac. Your recordings, projects, transcripts, and clips stay on your computer, and we don't receive them. When you process a sermon, the app sends data directly to the AI providers you connect, using your own keys.
1. Who we are
PulpitClips is made by [Company legal name], [registered address]. For privacy questions, contact privacy@[domain].
2. What stays on your computer
The desktop app stores your work locally, in folders you choose:
- Project files, source video references, transcripts, clip suggestions, edits, and exported clips
- Brand presets, studio settings, and AI rules
- Provider API keys, which are stored encrypted on your device
The current version of the app does not include analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting tools, and does not send usage data to us.
3. AI providers you connect
To transcribe and suggest clips, the app sends data from your computer directly to these providers, under your own accounts:
- Deepgram — audio from your recording, for transcription
- OpenAI or Anthropic — transcript text and your AI rules, for clip suggestions, titles, and descriptions
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We don't control them and don't receive copies of what you send.
4. Information we collect on this website
If you join the Team & Cloud waitlist, ask us to email you a download link, or contact us, we collect your email address and anything you include in your message.

7. Retention
